John Julias is a biosecurity program manager at Draper Lab. John previously served as a program manager at the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), the Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Activity (HSARPA) and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). During his federal service he developed national security focused programs addressing various aspects of chemical and biological threats. Prior to his federal service, has was an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, providing technical and strategic consulting in the global defense and global health markets. John holds a Ph.D. from West Virginia University and a B.A. in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University.
